About the Band
Dan Morris-guitar
Performing for NH audiences since getting a guitar for his 13th birthday, Dan has enjoyed playing a wide variety of genres in those 19 years from classic rock, funk, jazz, and in orchestra pits for a variety of musicals. Although studying different styles of music, Dan feels most at home melting faces with his Breaking Character brothers, "I love this band because we’ve all been good friends for a long time and we really enjoy each others’ company. It doesn’t take long for the audience to see that connection and be a part of it too."
Breaking Character is from the central NH region and have been together for 13 years performing today's and yesterday's hits from Weezer to Paula Abdul. They came together on the theatrical stage by performing with Franklin Footlight theatre and they were instantly best friends since then. Breaking Character's aim is to play music that will put a smile in your face and move your feet. They look forward to meeting more of their fans and are expanding this summer to more New England venues. Make sure you let us know if there is a venue near you!

Jack's singing began in 1992 with a band formed during his high school career in Medfield, Mass.
He was then dormant for a while until musical theater opened his eyes to singing again. He has been doing shows for 10 years and it is there where he met his bandmates. He is currently a school superintendent and a call member of the Fire Department there. "I want to take this opportunity to thank the fans who support us at all our gigs and especially my wife who come to all of them. Lastly, to the guys, doesn't matter if we're playing or hanging out, you guys make it fun. Thanks for the bromance."
Matt brings the low end to the band and is the patron saint of the Breaking Character Dance Crew. He is particulalrly proud of the unique sound of Breaking Character cultivated from a diverse and interesting set list that represents our musical interestes and what the audience wants most - more Matt!
